The California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) is comprised of individual broker members, and the prevailing goal of the association has been to foster co-brokering (two brokers working together on one deal). To facilitate this, broker members need to be more comfortable with each other—something that requires more than a conference once a year to facilitate. With the help of Smith Moore & Associates, CABB now has 11 regional chapters organized throughout California that meet regularly, as well as a listserv for members to communicate with all other CABB members with just one e-mail.
When Smith Moore & Associates took over management of CMTA they were in dire need of a modern website. Their old site was created in completely static HTML and the existing webmaster was difficult to get in touch with to make changes. We needed to be able to take over the site, but with virtually no communication from the previous webmaster and no access to the existing files, things were going to be difficult.
