The California Association of Sanitation Agencies is the voice of wastewater agencies in California. CASA is also Smith Moore & Associates’ first client and our team has provided full-service association management to CASA since 2006. Smith Moore & Associates has helped to provide CASA with a multi-faceted approach to wastewater outreach and education including technological advances for the association.
The California Municipal Treasurers Association serves as the vehicle for quality assurance, comprehensive education programs, high professional standards and public accountability for California’s municipal treasurers. Smith Moore & Associates has provided CMTA with full-service association management since 2009. The Smith Moore & Associates team moved CMTA toward its mission of providing quality education and professional enhancement to the state’s public treasurers through actively engaging in the association’s education program and building partnerships within the municipal treasury community.
The California Association of Business Brokers is comprised of individual broker members, and the prevailing goal of the association has been to foster co-brokering (two brokers working together on one deal). To facilitate this, broker members need to be more comfortable with each other—something that requires more than a conference once a year to facilitate.
